Neobiz AI Terms

Supplements the Indonesian and global Terms and applies to every market. Where these AI Terms conflict with the Terms on an AI matter, these AI Terms control; the DPA still controls on the processing of Member Data.

Version: 2026-07-1 · Effective date: 27 July 2026

1. What this covers

"AI Features" means the parts of the Service that use generative or predictive models — including the Neo assistant that converses with your members, drafting and suggestion tools, summarisation, and any labelled AI capability.

"Input" means what you or your members supply to an AI Feature. "Output" means what it returns.

2. Output is a draft, not an answer

2.1 AI Output can be wrong, incomplete, out of date, or confidently mistaken. It may also be similar or identical to Output given to another customer — no Output is unique to you, and none is warranted to be original or non-infringing.

2.2 Review before it goes out. You are responsible for reviewing and approving anything you send, publish or act on. Output that Neo sends directly to a member on your behalf is sent as your message, under your business identity, subject to the Messaging Policy.

2.3 Not professional advice. Do not rely on Output, and do not configure Neo to give Output, as legal, medical, financial, tax or other regulated advice.

2.4 Consequential decisions need a human. Do not use AI Features as the sole basis for a decision with legal or similarly significant effect on a person — including employment, credit, insurance, housing, or the denial of a service someone is entitled to.

3. Neo talking to your members

3.1 Disclosure. Where required by applicable law, and in any case where a reasonable person would otherwise believe they were talking to a human, your members must be told they are interacting with an automated assistant. Neobiz provides configuration to make this disclosure; you are responsible for it being present and accurate for your audience and market.

3.2 Handover. Keep a viable route to a human. Do not configure Neo so that a member with a complaint, a safety issue, or a request Neo cannot handle has no way to reach you.

3.3 Autonomous actions. Where you enable Neo to take actions — creating or changing bookings, assembling orders, registering members, applying loyalty benefits, issuing payment links — those actions are taken by you, through the Service, and bind you as if performed by your staff. Configure the permissions you actually want.

3.4 Erroneous actions. You remain responsible to your member for an action Neo takes within the permissions you granted. If an action was caused by a defect in the Service, raise it with support and Neobiz will investigate and correct the underlying issue; that does not transfer to Neobiz the commercial consequences of the transaction with your member.

3.5 Automated decision-making. Where Neo's operation amounts to automated decision-making about an individual under applicable data protection law, you are the controller of that processing and are responsible for the notices, safeguards and objection rights it requires. See DPA §6.

4. Your Input

4.1 Rights. You warrant you have the rights necessary to supply your Input and to have it processed by AI Features, including where Input contains member personal data.

4.2 Keep sensitive data out. Do not supply, and configure Neo not to solicit, the data categories prohibited by Messaging Policy §5 — payment card data, government identifiers, health information, credentials. AI Features are not a secure channel for them.

4.3 Ownership. As between the parties, you retain your Input. Subject to §5, you own the Output generated for you, to the extent it is capable of ownership.

5. Model training — off by default

5.1 Neobiz does not use Member Data to train models. Your members' personal data is not used to train, fine-tune or improve any model, whether Neobiz's or a provider's.

5.2 Provider terms. AI processing is performed by the model providers listed in the subprocessor list under agreements that include zero-retention and no-training commitments for data sent through the Service.

5.3 Operational use. Neobiz processes Input and Output as necessary to deliver the feature, to meter usage, to enforce this policy and the Messaging Policy, and to investigate abuse and security incidents.

5.4 If this ever changes. Neobiz will not begin using Member Data for model training, cross -merchant analytics or benchmarking without amending the DPA, giving notice, and providing a control to decline. See DPA §2.6.

6. Where AI processing happens

AI processing may take place outside the country where your Member Data is hosted, including in the United States. The transfer mechanisms and the current regions are set out in the DPA (Indonesian §10 · global §§5.2, 11).

7. Acceptable use of AI Features

Do not, and do not configure Neo to:

  • generate content prohibited by the AUP or Messaging Policy §4.4;
  • impersonate a real person, or generate synthetic audio or video of one;
  • conceal that a message is automated where disclosure is required;
  • attempt to bypass safety filters, extract system prompts, or manipulate the model into behaviour these terms prohibit;
  • use Output to train a competing model, or to build a competing product;
  • process another party's data through AI Features without the rights to do so;
  • generate spam, or content designed to evade filtering.

8. Credits, metering and availability

8.1 Consumption. AI Features consume AI credits as described in the Documentation. A turn consumes credit when it is processed, whether or not you found the Output useful.

8.2 Preview surfaces consume credits. Testing Neo through an in-product preview performs real inference and is metered the same way. Nothing is sent to your members from a preview.

8.3 Limits. Neobiz may apply rate limits and fair-use limits to AI Features.

8.4 Availability. AI Features depend on third-party model providers. Unavailability or degradation caused by a model provider is excluded from any service-level commitment, and Neobiz may change, substitute or withdraw a model or provider — including where a provider changes its terms, pricing or availability.

8.5 Beta. AI Features released as beta or preview are governed additionally by the Beta Terms.

9. Liability

AI Features are provided subject to the warranty disclaimer and the limitation of liability in the Terms. Given §2, Neobiz gives no warranty as to the accuracy, suitability, originality or non-infringement of Output, and is not liable for your reliance on it or for content you send after reviewing it.
